This is a timing issue between the two systems when transactions are happening at the same time on both systems.
We do not sync ParentPay payments immediately, they sync on a schedule.
Occasionally, usually when a parent pays around lunchtime, the payment is on ParentPay but has not been received by LunchHound before the lunch transaction is processed for that date.
LunchHound sees the balances change as per the below:
Previous Balance -> Lunch Transaction -> Updated Balance Including Lunch -> Payment Applied -> Updated Balance including Lunch and Payment
ParentPay sees the balances change as per the below:
Previous Balance -> Payment Applied -> Updated Balance Including Payment -> Lunch Transaction -> Updated Balance including Payment and Lunch
ParentPay then add a record in their system to report the discrepancy - this is what you see as a 'till side adjustment'.
Unfortunately we do not have any control over ParentPay adding the 'till side adjustment'. The adjustments will eventually cancel each other out and the balances between the two systems will be in agreement. You do not need to make any changes to the account.
